If you want to work in the UK beauty industry, the role of Aesthetic Practitioner is a popular choice.
Aesthetic Practitioners offer a range of treatments but a lot of them centre around skincare. Aesthetic Practitioner understand how the skin functions and how to help clients improve, optimise and rejuvenate their skin. Training is required for anyone who is looking to enter the industry as an Aesthetic Practitioner. You currently have two options available:
Option 1 - Fast Track Into Aesthetics (CPD & ABT Accredited). Priced from £1000.
Open to everyone as full training is given.
This currently remains the fastest and 100% legal method for non-medics to train as an Aesthetic Practitioner. Students will learn several treatments alongside first aid, anaphylaxis & complications over 8 days. Treatments include Anatomy & Physiology, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Vitamin B12 Injections, Dermal Fillers, Anti-Wrinkle Injections. Upgrades are possible to learn even more treatments. Upon completion you will be able to obtain insurance and charge the public making this a popular choice over recent years.
Option 2 - Level 4, 5 & 7 Aesthetics.
Priced from £1650.
Open to everyone as full training is given (subject to assessment).
This option is awarded by Qualifi and regulated by Ofqual. They are internationally recognised qualifications and are future proofed against any future regulation. Treatments cover Microneedling (foundation and advanced), Chemical peels (foundation and advanced), Dermal Fillers, Lip Augmentation, Cheek Fillers, Anti-Wrinkle Injections (foundation and advanced). Due to the thoroughness of the qualification they
takes anywhere from 6 months to 12 months (each) to complete.
