Microdermabrasion
One day – ABT accredited
Microdermabrasion is a form of exfoliation which removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells. The handset uses a mild suction to draw away the buildup of dead skin and filled pores (this is vacuumed into the machine) leaving fresh glowing skin. We will firstly teach you all the relevant theory such as anatomy, conditions & causes, contraindications, what equipment is required and much more, followed by a practical session where you will perform the treatment on a real model.
Students should hold a Facials qualification before doing this course. However we do have alternative insurance options for beginners if required, please discuss this with us upon booking.
This course will require a model. If you have any friends or family wanting to have this treatments done we can use them. If you do not have a model we can attempt to locate one for you upon request.
