This is a two day course which covers Dermal Filler injections into the Nasolabial folds (commonly known as smile lines), the Marionette lines (the crease that runs from the corners of the mouth dow the chin) and the Vermillion border (the border of the top lip which also helps reduce smokers lines in the moustache area). Following this course you can progress onto our Lip Augmentation course or Advanced Dermal Filler course.

Non-medics must either hold a NVQ level 3 in Beauty or have 6 months needling experience alongside Anatomy & Physiology Level 3. Needling experience could include Microneedling, Microblading, SPMU, Phlebotomy or similar. If however you are a complete beginner, you should book our Fast Track Into Aesthetics course which includes Dermal Fillers.

Important Information
The theory session on day one is done in small groups and will teach you for example all the relevant anatomy, injection techniques, ML and measurements, health and safety, first aid, anaphylaxis, adverse effects, contraindications to treatment, what equipment is required, step by step procedure and much more. You will also get to inject dermal filler into a fake doll head to prepare yourself for real models.

Following some home study assignments, you will return for a practical session. You will need to inject into the Nasal Folds, Marionette Lines & Vermillion Border on at least 3/4 separate models, however there is no set number as we will continue to do models until we know you are confident! You will be guided through each treatment by our qualified tutors to ensure each injection is done safely and correctly.

This course will require model(s). If you have any friends or family wanting to have these treatments done we can use them for models subject to a £50 fee per 1ml of Dermal Filler. If however you do not have a model please contact us to discuss as have options to assist.
